Quick orientation
What MoonScanner is. A real-time stock scanner that runs a suite of scanners — volume, options flow, insider trades, sentiment, and technicals — feeding a confluence scoring model that also pulls in dark pool, short interest, and catalyst data. When a stock lights up across multiple signals at once, that's confluence, and that's what MoonScanner is built to surface.
What it isn't. Financial advice. Not now, not ever. MoonScanner is a research tool that aggregates publicly available data and flags patterns. What you do with those patterns is entirely on you. Always do your own research, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.
Where the signals go
MoonScanner's alert feed shows up in three places. Use whichever fits your workflow:
- Inside the MoonScanner app — the app has a built-in IRC client that auto-connects to
#MoonScanner when you launch. You'll see alerts, the live market feed, and chat from other users right in the app. Works on every tier, including Free.
- IRC directly — if you'd rather watch from your own IRC client (HexChat, mIRC, weechat, Kiwi web client), connect to
irc.rizon.net and join #MoonScanner. Same channel, same feed, same conversation.
- Discord — discord.gg/6rHMHn5Zzj mirrors the alert feed if you prefer Discord's UI.
The free alert feed is available everywhere without a MoonScanner install — just join the IRC channel or the Discord. The paid tiers (Pro/Elite) unlock the full scanner dashboard inside the app: confluence scoring, all scanners, filtering, export, and more.

- Free — Volume scanner, top 100 stocks, 15-minute delayed alerts, 5 watchlist slots. Good entry point if you want to see what the scanner looks like before committing.
- Pro ($49/mo) — All scanners, unlimited stocks, real-time alerts, 50 watchlist slots, confluence scoring, data export.
- Elite ($99/mo) — Everything in Pro plus AI analysis, AI explanations, AI news summaries, unlimited watchlist, 90-day history, priority support.
